We are thrilled to announce the completion of our coast-to-coast Purple Heart Project for 2024!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to this meaningful endeavor. On November 6, 2024, we proudly hung the hearts in Ashalnd, Wisconsin, and on November 7, 2024, they found their place in California. Special thanks to Chris for leading the charge on the California team—your dedication helped bring our vision to life!
Throughout this journey, we’ve been deeply moved by the stories shared and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support. To all who submitted names and shared memories, you’ve made this project truly unforgettable.
Together, we’ve created a tribute that honors sacrifice and celebrates resilience across the nation.

At Knots of Love, we hold deep respect for those who have served our country, and this Veterans Day, we’re paying a special tribute to them.

We invite you to join us in honoring these brave individuals by submitting the name of a Veteran, or Veterans, you wish to recognize.

Each name will be proudly displayed on a tag attached to a specially hand-crocheted purple heart. On Veterans Day, these hearts will be showcased around Ashland, WI, and Belmont Shore, CA.

We encourage people to take a purple heart and find creative ways to honor your Veteran—whether as a keychain, bookmark, or bag decoration. It’s our way of ensuring their legacy is cherished in a personal and meaningful way.
